This prop was constructed for my son, Tyler, who chose it as his Halloween costume for 2 years. It is a wall designed in the same manner as "The Entrance", however, the back part of the wall has a door cut out so that a small person can go into it. A small door is cut open in the front of the wall so that it can be opened up to scare unsuspecting visitors.
The wall was created out of 12 large computer boxes. I painted it to look like an entry way with a flourescent head coming out of it. I put it at the end of my porch which was only illuminated with a black light. My son, Tyler, wore black gloves and a flourescent mask .
As the people approached the wall, they focused on the three objects that were illuminated by the black light. When they got closer, my son opened the hidden door and spooked them. For those trick or treaters that dared to get closer, he gave them a hand-full of candy.
Note: The wall doesn't have to be perfectly painted. Since it is only illuminated by the black light, the wall will look much MUCH better in the dark.
